Advisory Board
Michael A Palladino
He is Dean of the School of Science, and Associate Professor of Biology at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ. A PhD in Anatomy and Cell Biology from the University of Virginia, he was a faculty member in the Biology Department at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft, NJ. In 1999, he joined the faculty at Monmouth University. He is the recipient of the 1993 New Investigator Award from the American Society of Andrology, the 1997-98 Outstanding Colleague Award for Teaching Excellence from Brookdale Community College, the 2005 Distinguished Teacher Award from Monmouth University, the 2005 Caring Heart Award from the New Jersey Association for Biomedical Research,and in 2009, the Young Investigator Award from the American Society of Andrology (ASA). He is a co-author of BiologyLabs On-Line and has presented more than 70 workshops for teachers on DNA techniques, biotechnology, genomics, and integration of instructional technology in the classroom.
Niren Kodali
Dr. Niren Kodali has over 15 years of experience in teaching at the graduate and doctoral levels in various fields of Information Technology. Dr. Kodali holds a PhD in Computer Science specializing in Information Security. He is currently the Dean at the School of Computer Information Systems, Stratford University, and a Professor at George Mason University. Dr. Kodali is a member of ACM, IEEE, IFIP, and SACMAT. He is also involved with NAFSA, AACRAO, AEA and AAUP as a contributor, evaluator and subject matter expert. He is also on the board of, and serves as a referee for several peer-reviewed conferences and journals both in the United States and other countries. In addition to being widely published in the fields of Information Security, Multimedia and Surveillance in national and international journals and conferences, he leads seminars at various government and public sector organisations in the DC metro area. He is actively involved with local and national bodies dealing with international student advising, educational credential evaluation, retention and other cross-cultural needs.
Professor Aminabhavi
A PhD from the University of Texas, Austin, with a Masters from Karnataka University, he is Scientific Advisor to Dhirubhai Ambani Life Sciences Centre, Navi Mumbai. Prior to this he was Director of the Center of Excellence in Polymer Science, Karnataka University, Dharwad. He has been a Visiting Professor at UT South Western Medical Center, Dallas, USA, Chonnam National University, Korea, University of Texas, Dallas, USA (with Professor Alan G. Mac Diarmid, Nobel Laureate of Y2K in Chemistry), and at Southwest Texas State University, San Marcos, USA. He was a delegate with the Indo-French Centre for Advanced Research, visiting Universities, Research Laboratories and Industries in France. He is an Industrial Consultant to Reliance Industries Limited, Mumbai; Tata Steel, Jamshedpur; Bharath Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Bangalore; Gujarat State Fertilizers Corporation, Vadodara; and Texas Research Institute, Austin, Texas, USA.
Dr. T Prabhu
Dr. T Prabhu, an MD and FICP, from the UK, is the Director of Sagar Apollo Hospitals. Prior to this, he served as Director Medical Studies of Dayanand Sagar Institutions, Director Diagnostic Services, Sagar Apollo Hospitals, Dean of AIMS, Mandya, Karnataka, Principal of Bangalore Medical College, and Principal of Karnataka Medical College. He has over 35 years of teaching experience, and has served as a guide to many doctoral students. He has authored many papers and is a life member of various scientific bodies such as IMA, IAPM, AMI, IAMM, and SBTI.
Reeth Abraham
A sports and fitness consultant with a 15-year career in athletics (1976-1992), she represented India and Karnataka setting records along the way. She participated in two Asian Games, three Asian Track & Field Championships and two South Asian Games. She won the national championship just 10 months after the birth of her child becoming the first Indian mother to break a record at the National and the South Asian Games. She is also the first Asian mother to win a medal in an individual event. Her many national and international Gold Medals include 16 Gold and 11 Silver medals at the National Championships, and the Arjuna Award, 1997 and Karnataka Rajyotsava Award (Highest State Award), 1983.
Mahender Musuku
A Masters in Computer Applications and a successful business strategist and administrator with a degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, he has over 15 years of experience in software development, marketing, operations and management in hi-tech companies. He is on the board of several profit and non-profit organisations and is passionate about serving the community. He is a member of the Advisory Committee for the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering at Monmouth University, NJ. He believes in using technology for the upliftment of society.
S Rama Muni Reddy
A graduate from Hindu College, Guntur, he is an active Industrialist, Agriculturist, and Social Worker. He was the cabinet minister for Health and Medicine in Andhra Pradesh, a Member of the Rajya Sabha and a Member of Parliamentary Committees on Defense and Industry. He has travelled extensively across the world and represented the government for discussions on Industry , Commerce and Transport.
Dr. Ethirajan Govinda Rajan
A PhD in Electrical Engineering from IIT, Kanpur, with an ME in Applied Electronics and a DMIT in Electronics Engineering, he is the Principal (JNTU Ratified) of Avanthi Institute of Engineering & Technology, Hyderabad. He has received several academic and professional honours, including Best Instructor of the Department of Electrical Engineering at IIT, Kanpur.
Professor N.S. Ramaswamy
A BSc and BE from Madras University, he completed his Post Graduate education in Glasgow, Lehigh and Stanford Universities, as well as short term training in several institutions in the US and Europe. He has obtained degrees in Science and Engineering and training in Industrial Engineering and Management in the UK and the US. Currently, he is Director of Cartman, specializing in philanthropic work, Advisory Director with the World Society of Protection of Animals (WSPA), London, and Chairman of the Indian Heritage Academy. He was awarded the Padma Bhushan in 2006 for exemplary work in the field of Education. Prior to this, he was the founding Director of the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, a Consultant to the Airport Authority of India, and Ministry of Non-conventional Energy Sources and a Consultant to the UNESO, UN, FAO and UNIDO.
Don Jorgensen
Don Jorgensen is a resident of Pennsylvania and is a graduate in electrical engineering. He is a business and development manager with an IT company in the US and consultant to Lucent Technologies, a Pennsylvania-based company and DOW Chemicals. He is widely travelled and his interest in India and his many visits to this country have qualified him to become involved as technical advisor to the Candor Core Team.
